The HP Victus is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor, while the Omen 16 is powered by a Ryzen 9000 CPU. Both laptops include a specialized cooling system.

HP has added two new gaming laptops to its lineup: the Omen 16 and the Victus 16. Both devices, which are powered by AMD CPUs and Nvidia graphics, have the company's Omen Tempest Cooling mechanism, which lowers device temperature so gamers can play their favorite games for hours without performance reductions. The Omen 16 and Victus 16 also have improved Omen Gaming Hub features such as a performance mode and network booster.

Omen 16: Specifications 

The new Omen 16 is powered by AMD's Ryzen 9-7940HS CPU, which is paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU and 8GB of RAM. It boasts a 16.1-inch screen with QHD resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz, as the name indicates. The maximum brightness of the display is 300 nits.

 

It includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM, up to 1TB of NVMe Gen 4 SSD storage, and a 4-zone RGB illuminated keyboard. You also get two Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. According to HP, the Omen 16 has an 83Wh battery with quick charging capabilities and runs Windows 11. 

Victus 16 : specifications 

The Victus 16 is the less expensive of the two, but it comes with decent hardware for the price. The laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU and has Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3050 GPU with 6GB of VRAM. It has up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM, much like the Omen 16.

The 16.1-inch display, on the other hand, features a full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 144. The battery capacity is somewhat lower at 73 Wh. It's also the first Victus laptop, featuring an RGB backlit keyboard and three vents for enhanced cooling.
