You should get the iPhone 14 Pro If...

1. You prefer the less expensive choice.

The iPhone 14 was heavily discounted shortly after Apple revealed the iPhone 15 lineup. All prior iPhone models should be a few hundred dollars cheaper now that the iPhone 15 is available. The iPhone 14 Pro is the closest thing to an iPhone 15 you can get. Aside from a new chip and a few cosmetic changes, the iPhone 14's internal components are nearly identical to those of its predecessor.

To avoid interfering with the sales of the new iPhone, Apple normally discontinues last year's Pro versions immediately after revealing a new iPhone lineup. If you want to get an iPhone 14 Pro, you'll have to look elsewhere, such as Amazon, Best Buy, or your cell service provider, while supplies last.

It's official: the newest iPhones do away with the Lightning connections in favor of a USB-C port. The migration to USB-C is mostly essential for iPhone users outside of the United States, according to a European Parliament rule demanding that all electronic products be USB-C compatible by the end of 2024.

However, most iPhone owners in the United States and certain other countries are under no need to discard their Lightning charging cables. If you own an Apple Watch, AirPods, Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard, iPhone 14 or older, or Magic Trackpad, you're definitely familiar with Lightning cables.

If you want to stick with the Lightning cable, buy the iPhone 14 Pro.

With the launching of the iPhone 5s in 2013, Apple launched gold-colored iPhones for the first time. Asian customers, who connect the color gold with wealth and elegance, greatly impacted this design decision. Soon after, Apple exclusively sold Gold iPhones in "Plus" and "Pro" variants, hinting to customers that they'd have to pay more to have a Gold iPhone.

This is no longer the case with the iPhone 15 Pro, which is now available in Titan Gray, Blue, Silver, and Space Black – but not Gold.

So, if you want to own a Gold iPhone, you'll have to settle for the iPhone 14 Pro.

Apple is expected to release new iPhones on September 12th or 13th. The rumored date corresponds to Apple's annual iPhone event, which takes place in September. There have already been several leaks and rumours about what Apple has in store for the iPhone 15 series. Now, a few of photos allegedly showing the iPhone 15 Pro with the significant modifications that have been rumored thus far have surfaced online.

Dummy iPhone 15 Pro device discovered online

Ice Universe, a Twitter tipster, revealed images of a supposed iPhone 15 Pro model. The back, side, and bottom panels of the iPhone are seen here. The gadget certainly features a USB-C connector, which is one key change that has been rumored for the iPhone 15 Pro. According to many claims and leaks, Apple will begin using USB Type-C on iPhones with the iPhone 15 series.

The photos also show a real SIM tray as well as what seems to be the rumored 'Action' button. This implies that Apple will continue to provide the SIM tray for iPhones sold outside of the United States. Apple only produced eSIM-compatible iPhone 14 models for the US market. The Action button is expected to replace the mute switch and will have configurable capabilities.

Otherwise, the iPhone 15 Pro has the same design as the iPhone 14 Pro. The camera module is identical, as is the speaker grille, which is similarly located at the bottom. We don't see the front design here, but it will almost certainly have Apple's Dynamic Island, which debuted on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. The source indicates that these photographs are of a fake model, but this has not been confirmed, so it might simply not be the final design for the iPhone 15 Pro.
